Anti-Wrinkle Injections
Anti-wrinkle injections or Botulinum toxin (Botox) was FDA approved for cosmetic use in 2002. It is used globally, very successfully to reduce fine line and wrinkles.
Anti-wrinkle injections can be applied to the upper face, forehead and or around the mouth and chin to help reduce the look of: crow’s feet, forehead lines, frown lines, nasolabial folds and chin dimples. Administered directly into the muscles, the effects of Botox usually begin working 1 to 3 days after treatment.
When applied by a trained and experienced injector the result will produce a youthful look that still moves freely.
Botulinum toxin has many other uses, and its help can be called upon to improve many other medical and cosmetic concerns, including: migraines, chronic headaches, teeth grinding, jaw clenching and excessive sweating. Depending on the problem being treated repeat

Frequently asked questions
Am I suitable for anti-wrinkle injections?
Most people are suitable for this treatment. Your complimentary consultation will determine if anti-wrinkle injections are appropriate.
Are anti-wrinkle injections painful?
Although many clients tolerate this treatment well, we understand that some can find it slightly uncomfortable. Post-treatment discomfort is minimal and unlikely. You will require a follow up appointment 2 weeks post treatment for review.
Are there any side effects or risks with anti-wrinkle injections?
The area treated may feel slightly tender immediately after the procedure. Minimal localised swelling and bruising is a possibility but uncommon. However, these effects are normal and should ease within 24 or 48 hours.
What results can I expect from anti-wrinkle injections?
Smooth skin with a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles. Many people are concerned that anti-wrinkle injections will stop the face’s ability to express emotions but with the skill of our practitioners, you are not at risk of achieving a ‘frozen’ look.

What our patients say...
The level of care I’ve received from Amy and Alison is absolutely impeccable. Having had psoriasis for many years, I felt very safe in the knowledge that my treatment has been overseen medically. The unique proposition I have benefited from at Daleswood Aesthetics is something I’ve not been able to find elsewhere.
I’ve experienced amazing results having followed their bespoke treatment plan of ZO Skin Health skincare regime and regular use of their Dermalux Compact device. This has allowed me to live authentically and with greater confidence. Huge thanks!
